LAAS just gets more evil all the time. Those murdering monsters break the law, not even giving animals the minimum holding period, they are so eager to kill them. State law mandates that they must give animals to rescues before they kill them. But when they kill them before the rescues can even get them, that's totally against the law. Just like you said, they never gave her a chance. That poor little baby. Thank you for trying.

Subject: Terrible Update: RIP Wendy Joyce
I just called and they told me she was euthanized because she was contagious!!!! I asked what did she have, they said "alopecia, ocular discharge and skin lessions". THIS IS NOT anything contagious!!! That poor girl!!!! I am so pissed off. They didn't even give her three full days at the shelter, maybe not even two days! They gave her absolutely no chance.

Poor little Wendy Joyce was impounded just today. She had an owner, who first registered her years ago. Now at age 8, this poor baby was imprisoned in the slaughterhouse to die. This little pint-sized Chihuahua was coerced with the brutal pole, as you can see, so she will probably be labeled as "aggressive" because of her heroism in resisting being imprisoned and killed. So because of that, and because of her age, and because she has a skin condition, she will no doubt be killed fast--unless she's part of an "evidence" case, in which case they have to keep her for a month, and then they will kill her. Not sure what the situation is, but the skin condition is easy to treat. However, they probably have her locked in the Annex, where no one will even see her. Please can you find out what the story is with her, and if she's not on hold, then I'll put out a plea for her--if she's not on hold then she will be urgent immediately, they may kill her at any moment!
