Not sure if you have heard, but there has been a so-called "outbreak" of giardia at the South LA shelter, and many dogs have been killed for having this highly treatable, and easily treatable parasite! Sections of the shelter are quarantined, as they are now trying to treat a few, but if you look at the "New Hope" list, about 60+ dogs have been added this week alone. They are killing dogs for having giardia!
The media needs to be alerted!! Any ideas????

She sent an email to the "rescue community" reagrding dogs saying we can no longer put our names on them; and she is killing them faster and faster. All this because of giardia? Those monsters murdered Tyson today. They murdered at least 10 dogs from the "new hope" list, some that were never even redlisted, only greenlisted. Some that were on the list only for one day, and some that were on the list for months. So many perfect beautiful treasures--puppies, adults, even Smokey, who after one day on the list, now he's dead too. They kill all the animals eventually, and we never know whom they are killing and when, and by the time we find out, it's too late, the animals are dead.
All of a sudden, as usual with no warning, all were killed. Apparently they also killed about 6 dogs from the general population, who were not even on any list ever, since at least 6 other dogs disappeared from the pound's website at the same time as the 10 they killed from the "new hope" list. Another horrendous holocaust. The pound is empty. There is no excuse, though they will no doubt use the Giardia nonsense as an excuse. This was the second holocaust of this week at South LA. LAAS now has about 400 dogs on the "new hope" list including all 6 pounds, which is totally useless. Nobody has any clue who is being killed next, it's a total outrage.
The commission ordered Boks to put out a kill list, but he keeps getting away with not doing so, and the animals are all being killed as usual, nobody knows, nobody cares. THEY JUST KEEP GETTING AWAY WITH IT ALL, all the lying, all the killing, all the coverup, all the ruses.
I'm so sad for Tyson, and for all the rest of the angels they murdered today. The poor animals never had a chance. At least some of them would for sure have been rescued, but no one had a chance to get them out. That is the way the evil LAAS wants it, to be able to kill without the animals having any chance to get out alive, and no one even knowing.

You are probably gone already, I hope someone at the shelter realizes
how easy Giardia is to treat and how cheap. If every dog was given Flagyl
twice a day for 4 days they would be fine, so much better than euthanizing a
nice dog. Anyone in rescue knows how often dogs have Giardia it is nothing!!
Please don't euthanize dogs for something any dog can pick up in the
park!!

The rescuer who wrote the e-mail above is great; but now _________will probably have her "new hope" privileges revoked for opening her mouth--Boks terrorizes the rescue community, as do his minions such as the management in the South LA pound. The rescues can only pull animals if they are part of the "new hope" fan club, which means they kiss ass and cower and toe the line and keep their mouths shut. It's no longer just being a 501c3 that's demanded of rescuers, it's total allegiance to the Nazi LAAS and Boks der Fuhrer if you want to be allowed to get any animals out at all.
